I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, and maybe it will help you take life a little slower and with more meaning.In July 2006, a short 3-minute movie was launched on the Internet called The Dash. Since then, over 40 million people from around the world have watched it; and over 20,000 a day continue to watch it as a result of people passing it along.
The movie has been more successful than we could have ever imagined.
More importantly, however, it has inspired many, many people to reflect on their lives and ask that all important question, ‘Are my priorities where they should be?

THE JOURNEY
YESTERDAY WAS SOMEWHAT A DOWN DAY FOR ME AS IT MARKED THE 1ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF MY OLDEST 1ST COUSIN JOYCE; OF THE SISTER’S CHILDREN SHE WAS THE FIIRST TO DIE. YOU KNOW THAT IT HAD TO HAVE A PROFOUND AFFECT ON ALL OF US. IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SHE’S BEEN GONE FOR TWELVE MONTHS. HER STRUGGLE WAS LONG AND SOMETIME SILENT. I KNOW SHE HAD ESCAPED THE CLUTHES OF DEATH SO MANY TIMES THAT NO ONE REALLY BELIEVED THAT SHE ACTUALLY LEFT WHEN SHE DID. I SAY THIS TO THOSE WHO THINK THAT YOU HAVE TIME TO GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER…….LISTEN & THINK ABOUT ALICIA KEYS CURRENT SONG FROM HER CURRENT CD ENTITLED “I AM”…LOVE ME LIKE YOU’LL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN

ON A GOOD NOTE
Grateful for the life I’ve got, all that God has granted me; a degree of good health, some wealth, freedom and serenity.
We get off the path from time to time, but pain and love brings us back; we get enough challenges in our lives, to seek God’s help - that’s a fact.
When we are grounded in God’s love, in a way that we can see, that He; only allows those things in life that are meant to be.
We learn to rejoice in bad times, just as we do when things are good; ask for grace to go through, for things happen just as they should.
When we are cruising through negative space, there are lessons we have to learn; the very first thing that we must know is that, “It is just our turn.” (…and we all get one.)
God is working things for good, and we learn each day; whatever our great ideas are, God’s has a better way.
So it becomes our great task, to seek each day to do God’s will; calm ourselves, stop running around and learn to just “Be Still.”
Patience, tolerance, faith and love are valuable commodities; when journeying is the destination, of life and liberty.

“LIFE EVENTS”
IT IS OFTEN DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT JUST EXACTLY WHERE THIS JOURNEY WILL TAKE YOU; BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, IT WILL TAKE YOU SOMEWHERE!
SINCE MY LAST POSTING I’VE:
- CELEBRATED A QUIIET NEW YEAR
- CELEBRATED WITH MUCH JOY MY GRANDDAUGHTERS’ 7TH BIRTHDAY IN COLUMBUS, OHIO. IT IS A JOY TO SEE A YOUNG CHILD’S INNOCENSE BEFORE THIS JOURNEY TAINTS IT.
- BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL ;HAD AN INCORRECT DIGNOSIS…WHICH SENT ME REELING!
- BEEN TO THE WEST COST TO FINALLY VISIT MY SON AND HIS FIANCE; HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND DIDN’T REALIZE HOW MUCH WE NEEDED TO GET AWAY. IF GOD’S WILLING, PLANNING TO DO MORE OF THAT AS WE USED TO.
- HAD SOME “REVELATIONS” PERTAINING TO MY LIFE AND THE DIRECTION I NEED TO TAKE AS I APPROACH MY 57TH YEAR. WILL LET YOU KNOW THOSE LATER.
